MVP|NY, which publishes travel magazines about New York City (IN New York,
Where New York, Where GuestBook New York, QG: NYC’s Official QuickGuide,
IN New York Map), is looking for a freelance Web Assistant. The ideal
candidate is someone with skills such as
Web/Graphic Design, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Adobe Photoshop and Adobe
Dreamweaver. Some knowledge of Adobe Fireworks and Flash will be an asset.
Requirements: familiarity w/ both Mac and Windows OS; attention to detail
and eagerness to learn. Position begins immediately. Rate $13/hour.
Freelancers should be able to commit to 3 days per week (hours: 5:30
p.m.-9:30 p.m.). Daily tasks include routine maintenance and updates for
MVP|NY’s network of websites, photo editing and developing new
interactive features such as Blogs, RSS feeds and Dynamic content serving.
