Glamour Magazine is looking for Winterim semester interns, which begins in early-mid December and ends in late January. If there is interest and things work out, you may be asked to stay on for the Spring ‘10 semester. Interns must be currently enrolled in college and must have some experience/interest in fashion. You must be available to work at least 2-3 FULL days/week. Full-time co-op students are also welcome. Please do NOT contact us if you don’t have the availability listed.
This internship includes a $12/day stipend, paid out monthly.
Interns responsibilities can include maintaining the fashion closet, facilitating check-ins and returns of loaned merchandise, assisting the editors with research, sorting mail, running errands, coordinating their schedules, assisting with script writing/preparation for television segments, and possibly attending an appointment or photo shoot.
Interns will be considered for positions in the fashion and accessories closet, assisting the senior style writer, or the executive editor at large. Please specify in your SHORT cover letter if you have a particular interests in any of these areas. Candidates should have a great attitude, be super organized, detail-oriented, and hard working.
