Collegiettes is an online lifestyle mag for college women and part of the
StudentBloggers network (HackCollege.com, The20life.com, etc.) We cover
style, health, love, career, pop culture, and pretty much anything you
might discuss at happy hour over an offensively large basket of wings.
We’re looking for smart, witty writers with strong editorial voices and
the ability to catch trends and turn stories around quickly. You’ll have
bios/bylines while working alongside experienced bloggers. Though we can’t
compensate immediately, you’ll be paid as soon as ads/sponsors are secured
— as soon as we get paid, you do too.
Qualifications:
* Experience working for major pubs/sites with similar content
* Demonstrated social media expertise
* Min. three-month commitment
Duties: Pitch stories, produce regular content, and grow site traffic
while engaging a college audience.
Digg/SU/Reddit know-how, an established network and basic AP style/SEO
knowledge are a plus.
