INK Publishing, the world’s leading publisher of inflight magazines, is
seeking an experienced full-time Copy Editor for GO Magazine, the inflight
magazine of AirTran Airways. The monthly title includes a vibrant mix of
travel, lifestyle, product and business offerings. The candidate will have
at least two years of experience proofreading, editing and fact-checking.
He/she will manage the style sheet and ensure that the publication strictly
adheres to it. He/she will work with editors to ensure the very highest
levels of accuracy and consistency. A bachelor’s degree is required.
Candidate must be a quick learner, extremely detail-oriented, and able to
meet deadlines and multitask. Excellent spelling and knowledge of grammar
are musts. Knowledge of AP style is a plus.
This job is located in DUMBO, Brooklyn.
