Blackvoices.com seeks a fall intern for its Life & Style area, to program
Web pages and assist the Life & Style editors to publish content around
fashion, beauty, hair, health, relationships and other special projects
pertinent to the African American audience.
Interns will also have a hand in the editorial process — writing,
programming, transcribing and possibly some marketing. Knowledge of
PhotoShop, blogging, social networking, research and copy editing skills
are a plus. Any specialized interest in lifestyle categories is also
helpful.
This is an unpaid internship based out of our New York City office.
Interns must be enrolled at an accredited institution and must receive
college credit for the internship. Ideally, we’d like to have someone come
in on Tuesdays and Thursdays, but we’re flexible.
