CURE Media Group (CMG), the leading publisher of magazines and other
products aimed at cancer patients and survivors, is seeking an experienced
Editorial Assistant to provide editorial support for all of CMG’s
products.
• Research story ideas, write articles
• Serve as lead fact-checker
• Manage “Letters to the Editor” page
• Manage incoming e-mail and correspond with readers
• Proof editorial content
• Track and maintain list of cancer organizations
REQUIRED:
Bachelor’s degree in journalism; at least one year of experience editing
or writing in a publishing environment; knowledge of AP style, attention to
detail and deadlines;
PREFERRED
Familiarity with print and web publishing. Interest in medical or science
publishing.
