Art + Auction, a monthly magazine covering news of the art world, and Modern Painters, a monthly contemporary art magazine, are looking for editorial interns for the fall.
Learn how to:
– Assist in putting together a magazine, from planning sessions to final layout
– Generate ideas for news stories
– Fact-check news articles
– Research upcoming auctions, fairs and gallery and museum shows
– Request books and catalogs for upcoming articles
– Perform general office duties including faxing, copying, indexing and opening mail
All interns receive a stipend of $10 per day worked and are expected to contribute at least 15 hours per week.
