join our team as a full-time, entry level staff writer.
Gain hands-on magazine publishing experience with an award-winning
publication. Ideal candidate will be a recent college graduate and possess
the following skills:
·Excellent knowledge of AP style and journalistic standards.
·A good sense of grammar and an eye for details.
·The ability to meet tight deadlines.
·Strong interviewing and communication skills.
·The capability to self-edit and rewrite, when necessary.
Job responsibilities include:
·Compiling monthly feature departments.
·Writing monthly feature stories.
·Updating Web-related content daily.
·Writing weekly e-newsletter.
·Reporting on location for local events.
·Answering phones and other administrative duties as necessary.
