Editorial summer intern. Unpaid. ACADEMIC CREDIT REQUIRED.
Intern responsibilities: Heavy research and fact-checking; assist
processing of author assignments and contracts; interview authors,
musicians, etc. for website; write product reviews and other small pieces
for website; request product samples for photo shoots; respond to reader
inquiries and requests; attend and contribute to staff meetings; attend and
assist as needed at photo shoots and press events; provide general
administrative support. Applicants must have strong research and writing
skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel a plus. Scholastic is
located near the NYU campus (on Broadway and Prince St.)
Hours: 3-5 full days per week
