YourTango, the web destination for love and relationships, is seeking a Celebrity Editor to oversee our Celeb Love blog, which covers all aspects of celebrity relationships.
Responsibilities:
- Writing and producing two blog posts each weekday and one post each weekend day. Posts are 250 words minimum. Production includes entering the text into our CMS and downloading and cropping a photo.
- Maintaining the voice of the blog.
- Making sure Celeb Love covers breaking and newsworthy celebrity love news. The Celebrity Editor will keep an ongoing contact with bloggers to manage coverage/tone.
- Ensuring that all Celeb Love posts are written and produced correctly.
- Promoting posts to other gossip blogs and social media sites.
The ideal candidate will have experience writing for a celebrity gossip blog, be familiar with web publishing and traffic-driving outreach. The position is off-site and is NOT full-time.
