Angeleno magazine, a monthly L.A. lifestyle glossy, is now accepting applications for its unpaid summer 2009 editorial internship semester (runs from late May to late August). The publication focuses on fashion, dining, nightlife, home design, beauty, travel, Hollywood, and the arts.
Duties primarily include fact-checking, proofing, research, party coverage, editing calendar listings, occasional short writing assignments, and some standard office duties. Front-of-book story pitches are encouraged. Recent graduates of the program have gone on to entry-level positions at Elle Décor, Self, Flaunt, the L.A. Times, Riviera, and Angeleno.
Applicants must commit to a two-day rotation (either Mon/Wed, Wed/Fri,
Mon/Fri or Tues/Thurs), from 9:30am to 6pm.
The publication is located on Wilshire, three blocks west of La Brea.
