The editorial health programming manager will be part of the AOL Health editorial team and will be responsible for writing and editing content, assigning to freelancers, and working with partners to intake content. They will also work with the sales team to create sponsor-friendly content. Must have strong writing and editing skills but be able to take direction. This position will require working with a large team and consist of juggling many projects. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who is able to understand priorities and consistently meet deadlines. Demonstrable writing/creative skills a must. The day-to-day tasks will include page builds for original and partner content, updating the live site, managing specific content areas, writing headlines and promotional copy, creating original programming, and more.
Should have 3 to 5 years experience producing content for a health or lifestyle website or magazine and an interest in health, especially in the diet and fitness areas. Web experience required.
