Fast Company magazine is now accepting applications for spring 2009
editorial interns. Positions are paid or for-credit, full-time, and run
from January to May in our New York office. Fast Company is an
award-winning national magazine centered on innovation in business, with a
strong focus on technology, sustainability, and design.
Fast Company editorial interns do not get coffee or run errands. Our
interns work directly with senior editors, attend editorial meetings, and
write as staff bloggers. Almost without exception, each intern will earn
several short bylines in the magazine. Research and fact-checking
assignments are an integral part of this internship — a strong work ethic
and careful attention to detail are a must.
We offer three positions per semester and the applicant pool is very
competitive.
