Rodale Inc. is currently seeking an intern for the Fall Semester for the Fashion Department at Women’s Health located in New York City.
Women’s Health is a women’s lifestyle magazine rooted in healthy living. Launched in October 2005 and published 10 times a year by Rodale Inc., Women’s Health is a fresh, smart and inspiring magazine for today’s active young women. Through compelling service journalism, a sense of humor and an authentic voice, the magazine speaks to every aspect of a woman’s life including health, fitness, nutrition, emotional well-being, sex and relationships, beauty and style.
Responsibilities include:
# Administrative duties including; maintaining product closet, trafficking samples and organizing press kits.
# Light fact checking
# Calling in samples in a professional manner
# Opportunity to attend photo shoots and appointments with editors
Requirements:
# Preferred major: Fashion Merchandising, Fashion Design
# Impeccable attention to detail
# Must be able to work and prioritize quickly
# Ability to work well under pressure
# Hard working, enthusiastic, energetic and interested in Fashion
