We are seeking a full time editor for the new National Edition of UrbanDaddy.
This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your own edition of a national daily email magazine, help expand a growing startup and develop a new property from scratch.
The National editor will be responsible for setting the editorial calendar, managing a team of freelancers and ultimately writing and/or producing a daily story related to: style, gear, tech, luxury, websites/web services, travel, national events and the all-catching “culture.”
You’ll also be working closely with the New York team that publishes daily covering nightlife, restaurants, style and entertainment in New York.
The work: full time Editor based in New York, with the potential for some travel.
The $$$: Compensation, benefits, and perks to be discussed offline.
The location: Our office is located in Union Square.

- Three years experience in an established publication.
- You know how to turn a phrase and do it quickly and with impressive wit.
- You have experience working and writing in a fast-paced deadline-driven environment.
- You can inspire and manage others.
- You can scour the internet and blogosphere with the best of them.
- You have a sharp and witty sense of humor which shines through in writing
- You possess a love (and knack) for sourcing interesting and ahead-of-the-curve content.
