Description:
GAYOT.com, a restaurant, travel and lifestyle website in Los Angeles, is
looking for an Editorial Assistant. This is an entry-level position for a
candidate with an excellent command of the English language, a bachelor’s
degree, and some previous experience writing and editing (published
preferred, but unpublished no problem). We’re looking for someone
self-motivated, organized, and efficient to provide support to the editors,
create and maintain web pages, edit and proofread articles, optimize images
for the web, give creative input, and write occasional articles, blurbs,
headlines, etc. Working knowledge of Dreamweaver, Photoshop, HTML a plus.
Salary based on skills and experience. Local applicants only, please.
