Alpinist, an archival-quality, quarterly publication dedicated to world
alpinism and adventure climbing, is seeking a gear intern to join its team.
The best candidates will know the outdoor industry backward and forward,
will be meticulous at record-keeping and enthusiastic about handling the
latest and greatest climbing gadgets and gizmos. Writing, video and new
media experience a plus. We encourage resourceful climbers/writers with big
smiles, puritanical work ethics and sparkling personalities to apply.
Responsibilities
include:
* Gear organization—working with the gear editor, companies and
reviewers to request, organize, invoice and distribute product.
* Testing gear and writing and editing gear reviews and industry news
stories when needs and aptitudes converge.
