Old-House Journal magazine (located in Chantilly, Va., just outside of
Washington, D.C.) is looking for a summer intern. Spend the summer working
with a tight, all-hands-on deck editorial team to help produce Old-House
Journal’s newsstand-only publication Traditional Products. You will
contact companies to request submissions; research products; track press
releases and photos; and write short, interesting, fun, and informative
product reviews for publication. A strong work ethic, natural curiosity,
good organizational skills, and can-do attitude are key. Old-House Journal,
an Active Interest Media publication, is a bimonthly national magazine with
a circulation of 110,000. Considered an authority in the field of home
restoration, we are celebrating our 35th anniversary this year. Internship
is unpaid; must be able to receive school credit.
