The nation¹s largest producer of regional magazines seeks a freelance editor
for a stylish, men’s-driven magazine supplement to debut in September. The
candidate must be an experienced editor and writer with a strong knowledge
of DC¹s high-end fashion, cultural, business, dining, retail and nightlife
scenes. We¹re looking for an all-star who is capable of writing and editing
great, lively copy; generating dozens of ideas; and working with art
directors and photographers to create the most visually stimulating
publication possible. You must be fastidious about deadlines and, with the
help of fact-checkers and proofreaders, producing flawless copy. Ideally,
you will have your own pool of strong freelance writers to draw from.
Enthusiasm for the project and the content we cover is essential. The
assignment runs from the hiring date through August 25, and offers potential
for repeated projects.
