CITY Magazine in New York, NY is looking for a design and production
intern. CITY is an award-winning national lifestyle magazine devoted to
fashion, travel, design, food, and the stylish city life. Position reports
directly to the Designer & Production Editor for print and web-based
assignments. These will chiefly include materials to be produced for the
Sales & Marketing teams, potentially along with some front/back of the book
design work for the print magazine. Applicant must be proficient on Mac OSX
w/in Adobe Design Suite. Additional knowledge/background in print
production and/or basic web applications recommended. The ideal candidate
is a talented, self-motivated individual who can work independently in a
do-it-and-then-show-me workplace. A high-end editorial aesthetic is a must.
This is an unpaid internship position; full and part-time applicants will
be considered.
