Tango is looking for an Associate Editor who will be principally responsible for creating, aggregating, and editing content as well as supporting related content initiatives.
Responsibilities:
* generate ideas for, create and edit content
* assist with photo selection and editing
* network & reach out to other online editors and bloggers
* oversee the aggregation of third party content
* actively take steps to build community and user participation on Tangomag.com
* attract star writers and bloggers to Tangomag.com
* conjure up creative ways to create awareness for and drive traffic to Tango’s content
* assist editor in chief and managing editor with various content related operational tasks such as contracts, scheduling, intern recruitment, etc
* be entrepreneurial, enthusiastically wear numerous hats and help grow young company
* proactively learn about new online tools, technologies, interesting writers, etc.
