Angeleno magazine is now accepting applications for an intern position
specifically assisting the editor-in-chief. The internship would begin
immediately and would run for three months. The publication focuses on
fashion, dining, nightlife, home design, beauty, travel, Hollywood, and the
arts.
Responsibilities will include assisting with story research,
fact-checking, updating contact lists, managing correspondence, filing
story folders for each issue, keeping track of expense reports, and sending
out issues to editorial contacts. Opportunities may also include party
coverage and short writing assignments. Front-of-book story pitches are
encouraged.
Applicants must commit to a two-day rotation (either Mon/Wed, Wed/Fri,
Mon/Fri or Tues/Thurs), from 9:30am to 6pm.
