A national entertainment magazine for teen and tween girls based in Englewood Cliffs, NJ, is seeking an art and photo assistant who can help our art, photo, and editorial departments. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the magazine industry. Duties include: Assisting the art department with daily tasks such as scanning photos, converting art, and shipping pages to production. Assisting the photo editor with photo research, credits, and filing. Administrative tasks such as sorting mail, billing, and processing giveaways. Updating the website. This is an entry-level position. Candidates must be familiar with: Adobe Photoshop. Adobe Illustrator. Adobe InDesign preferred, but Quark knowledge is acceptable.
