Angeleno magazine, a monthly L.A. lifestyle glossy, is now accepting
applications for its summer 2008 editorial internship semester, which runs
from the last week of May through the last week of August. The publication
focuses on fashion, dining, nightlife, home design, beauty, travel,
Hollywood, and the arts.
Duties primarily include fact-checking, proofing, research, party
coverage, editing calendar listings, and occasional short writing
assignments. Front-of-book story pitches are encouraged. Recent graduates
of the program have gone on to entry-level positions at Elle Décor, Self,
the L.A. Times, and others.
Applicants must commit to a two-day rotation (either Mon/Wed, Wed/Fri,
Mon/Fri or Tues/Thurs), from 9:30am to 6pm.
