American Express Publishing is seeking a part-time (approx. 20-30 hours/week) online producer to assist in the daily production of foodandwine.com, travelandleisure.com, and departures.com. He or she will work closely with the producers and editors to update the sites and will be responsible for the daily and weekly production of articles.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience producing content for the web and should be passionate about food, wine, luxury travel, family travel, and golf travel.
Job Responsibilities:
Daily production on our Websites, including creating and updating pages: magazine articles, recipes, web-exclusive content, and hotel & restaurant guides
Updating the Websites as needed, including section fronts and homepages
Sending out e-mail newsletters
Other daily tasks as needed
Requirements:
- 2-3 years online content production
- Proficiency in XHTML and CSS
- Must have solid working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Adobe InDesign, and Adobe Bridge
- Knowledge of Flash a plus
- Attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to meet daily deadlines are essential
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule as needed
- Familiarity with and an interest in food, wine, luxury travel, family travel, and golf travel are a plus
