Gurl.com is looking for a Spring intern to start in January. Duties: Support editorial staff. Contribute during editorial meetings. Write smaller features to be published on site. Fact check articles and research new ideas. Moderate community boards. Eventually, develop own independent project to be published on the site.
Requirements: School credit. Commitment to 12 - 15 hours/week. No monetary compensation
Important: The office will be moving in March 2008 to Englewood Cliffs, NJ. Intern must be able to commute to New York City and Englewood Cliffs.
Must have: Strong writing skills, interest in women’s/teen issues, basic knowledge of the web.
