Modern Bride & Elegant Bride magazines, of Conde Nast Publications, are looking for 8 to 10 spring interns. Interns will be placed in the art/production, features, lifestyle, or fashion departments based upon their interests and background. The internships are unpaid and students are REQUIRED to receive academic credit. Must have strong computer and phone skills, and be a hard-working self-starter and question-asker. We need outgoing, energetic people! Intern responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Features and Lifestyle Ð assisting features and lifestyle editors with fact-checking, Internet research, phone interviews, and administrative duties. Interns will also prepare for and assist at photo shoots. Fashion Ð assisting the fashion, beauty, and accessories editors with fact-checking, Internet research, trafficking samples from designers, manufacturers, and PR firms, as well as general clerical duties and photo shoots. Art/Production Interns will report to the production and art directors and will assist with scanning and trafficking materials to photographers, among other tasks and projects. Must be familiar with InDesign, Quark Express and Photoshop. Interns must be available 3-4 days a week from January to May and must be enrolled in a college or university.
