Life & Style Weekly is still looking for a few enthusiastic interns to join a fast-paced, celebrity-obsessed, style-savvy editorial staff this winter/spring semester. We are looking for general editorial interns, as well as interns to specifically help in either the fashion or beauty department. Depending on department placement, interns will be expected to complete research assignments (using Nexis and other search engines) for stories on deadline, handle products in the fashion and beauty closet, complete various organizational tasks, update databases and calendars, respond to reader email, compile credit information for the magazine, put together the daily celebrity news packets that get distributed to the office, and, in time, much more. Life & Style Weekly is located in Englewood Cliffs, NJ — just a hop, skip and a jump (by public transportation) across the George Washington Bridge.
