Antiques, a highly respected monthly magazine that concentrates on the decorative and fine arts and architecture, is seeking an editorial intern available immediately. The internship includes the following projects: Cataloguing new books entering the magazine’s research library. Organizing and maintaining the books in the collection. Assist in the proofreading process for editorial articles and columns when necessary. The internship will provide educational opportunities combined with experience of working with knowledgeable editors in a professional publishing environment. Candidates should possess strong organizational skills and have an interest in art history, publishing, or library studies. A major/minor in one of these areas is preferable. Although this is an unpaid internship, we do offer a $4 stipend to cover the cost of getting to and from our offices by subway.
