The Women’s Sports Foundation, a national non-profit organization, is seeking full-time ONLINE/MULTI-MEDIA interns for January-June 2008. Responsibilities include working in our Information Referral Service and department assignment under the direction of an individual supervisor. The online media intern position offers a unique opportunity for applicants interested in journalism, communications, web design, creative writing, online marketing, and beyond. Duties include: writing original articles; interviewing influential members of the women’s sports community; and creating Foundation e-newsletters. However, a creative mind, attention to detail, ability to write effectively, and an interest in learning about the internet is a MUST. Monthly stipend is $800/MO. Interns work in our East Meadow, NY office Monday-Friday 9am-5pm.
