Popular Mechanics is looking for a paid special projects assistant to contribute to our research department this fall. The position is primarily fact checking, and there may also be opportunities to write for the website and magazine. The position officially begins in mid-September and runs through the December holidays. We’re looking for 35 hours a week, and the pay is $7.15/hour—but the experience in this department is fast-paced, hands-on and top-notch.
