Popular Mechanics is looking for a special projects assistant to work full-time (10 am-6 pm, 5 days a week) in our New York offices from mid-August through December. Responsibilities include providing support to our small staff, tackling administrative tasks, some light writing for the web and possibly fact-checking. We’re looking for candidates with a genuine interest in what we cover and a positive attitude. Perfect for recent college grads with previous internships or experience at student publications. Pay is $7.15/hour.
