I had just moved back to LA after my May 2002 graduation and went to
the first ever LA Ed2010 cocktail party. I met a girl who was at Los
Angeles Magazine, a mag I adore. I was freelancing for Westways, a mag
she poured through. We switched contact info and now we're both
freelancing for both.
Also, I answered an Ed posting from the people at Girls' Life in
Baltimore and I was a finalist, but they chose someone else. The
interesting thing about that posting is that I didn't see it anywhere
else besides Ed2010, so this group is another way to be "in-the-know."
