I graduated from Medill (J-school at Northwestern) in December and my
classmates and I have had an awful time trying to find a great (or
not-so-great) mag job.
I just accepted an offer for an associate editor position at a mag in
Illinois that ran on your site before it hit the papers. It only took
about three weeks from the time I dropped off my resume to get the
final offer. I figured, if they were smart enough to run on Ed2010,
then they must be a pretty innovative, contemporary company. Just right
for me!
So big, huge thanks to you and your staff. Not only do I enjoy the
daily updates, but I really appreciate the "Ed Whispers." Keep up the
great work! I promise to support the Chicago chapter as a virtual
gratuity.
