Last year, while completing a journalism internship in Washington, DC,
I came across Ed2010's site in my job searches. I have been a loyal
subscriber ever since. Despite sending my resume to countless numbers
of Ed's job postings, I was beginning to lose hope at ever having a
magazine career (I didn't have any money to make such a big move to
NYC, and was tired of rejection letters). Although a bit discouraged, I
worked two part-time jobs to scrape together some money and decided
that I would be willing to take another internship. Then a few weeks
ago, Working Mother magazine called. They wanted me to work as their
fashion intern! Of course I accepted and am now looking forward to
moving to New York! I wouldn't have found this fabulous opportunity
without the "whisper" from Ed2010.
