I graduated from Syracuse University in May 2004 with a major in magazine journalism and a minor in the music industry. After two months of job searching without results, I emailed a college professor who suggested I check out Ed2010's website. He said he knew of some students that had gotten jobs through the site. So I started looking into Ed's job postings religiously and I subscribed to the mailing list. One week after I started checking Ed's job postings, I applied to a teen urban entertainment magazine as an editorial assistant. Although I didn't know what magazine it was when I applied, I was pleasantly surprised to find out that it was a magazine I had read when I was younger. One week after that, the editorial coordinator contacted me and interviewed me over the phone. She invited me to visit the office the next day where I was interviewed and hired on the spot.

After years of hoping I can finally say that I am an entertainment journalist. I was skeptical approaching the whole job search and job sites in general but Ed2010 made a world of difference. Keep up the good work.
