Family Circle‹—a national consumer magazine with more than 4 million
subscribers—‹is looking for an editorial intern in the Articles Department
for the spring semester to start in mid-January. The ideal candidate is
enthusiastic and organized and has an interest in family, home and issues
that affect moms of teens and tweens. Must be able to work a minimum of two
to three days a week for academic credit. Previous internship and/or campus
media experience is a plus. Intern may assist editors with research, idea
generation and administrative duties. Great opportunity for hands-on
experience.

BRIDES Magazine is looking for an intern to work in the Photo Department
1-2 days a week during the Spring 2010 semester. Candidates should be
eligible for college credit and have a background in photography.
Responsibilities will include handling photo research, returning portfolios
and original artwork, scanning film and resizing images, attending photo
shoots, and renting props. It is a great opportunity to gain an
understanding of the publishing industry and the production of editorial
photo shoots.

BRIDES is a monthly consumer magazine published by Condé Nast

Time Out New York’s “I, New York” section is looking for spring
editorial interns. Responsibilities include research, reporting,
fact-checking, contributing ideas, running errands (rarely), solo
interviews and writing items for the magazine. Sharp attention to detail,
an interest in the particulars of NYC life, reliability, and a strong work

editorial department of Us Weekly magazine during the Spring 2010 semester.
Interns must be highly-motivated, organized, up-beat and responsible
individuals with an interest in celebrity news and pop culture. Interns need
to understand that they may have to work at least 2 full days (longer hours) as we work to meet deadlines to close the issue.

Some duties that will be expected of interns include: transcribing taped
interviews, conducting man-on-the street polls, using Lexis Nexis and other
search engines to find celebrity quotes and other related research,
