Swagger New York is seeking an aspiring fashion/lifestyle journalist to
assist with style editorial for Swagger: New York. Interns will be expected
to research content, fast-check, copy-edit, trend report, conduct
interviews, pitch stories and write engaging pieces for our fashion
section. Our photographers will take the photos; you make the photos come
to life. A typical day includes walking the streets of NYC with our
photographer in search of potential Swagger trendsetters, providing written
drafts of those you meet, and inputting information into our database. This
is a great opportunity to hone your interviewing skills and see the
evolution of a feature, from the street to the site.
The editorial intern will be the right-hand to our Editor-In-Chief.
Socializing and self-started skills are essential for this position. The
editorial intern will be expected to work 12-15 hours per week, or 3 days.
