So besides Ed and JournalismJobs, I also use SimplyHired a lot. Out of nowhere, it seems that they’re getting a lot of their listings from 4EntertainmentJobs.com, a site that makes you pay to read the full listing/apply. I haven’t paid to use any job boards yet, but I’m at the point in my job hunt where I’m starting to consider it. I can’t imagine that these boards (Hound.com, creativejobscentral.com) have all of these other postings, but maybe I’m wrong. Does anyone here pay for job boards, and if so, would they recommend it for others?
i agree with the above
i agree with the above comment, the internet is with a doubt growing into the most important medium of communication across the globe and its due to sites like this that ideas are spreading so quickly.

Question Seconded
I’m quite curious about this, too. I use JournalismJobs, MediaBistro, and Ed, plus the obvious aggregators (indeed, etc.), but am getting desperate. It seems like it wouldn’t be in the employers best interest to post only on subscription sites, but maybe they do? Any guidance would be appreciated!
