I applied for a position with Urban Daddy last week and I haven’t heard anything back yet. How long should I wait before following up with the contact?

Did you have a contact that you knew at UrbanDaddy or did you just send it to the contact listed on the job ad?

Which position?

I applied for both the Staff Writer (longshot because I don’t have an NYC address) and Atlanta Editor positions. Each of them had different, direct contacts.

When did you apply? I remember seeing ads from them in September, but then they posted another ad a week ago… I wonder if they ever hired someone during the first round?

Staff Writer or Atlanta Editor?

I applied for both positions. The staff writer position has been open for a while, but the Atlanta spot just opened up last week. Seems like they take their time with the hiring process…it’s driving me crazy because I am used to hearing back within in a week or so. Ahh!!
