I Need Fall/Winter sublet in NYC

Hi Edsters!

While I am new to the forum here I have been an on-going reader of ED2010 for the past 5-6 years and now I come to you for your expert advice!

I have a sublet here in NYC that is up in Sept and I am in hot pursuit of a cool, fun, safe, clean, and, drum roll please, affordable place to live come this fall.

Does anyone know of anything that might be available, or know any good sites for me to look for a place to sublet besides Craigslist? A little about me…

I am a fun-loving, laid back female, a freelance writer, waitress, and part-time improviser. I’m easy to live, a non-smoker, and petless, (although I ADORE animals and think an apt with a pet would be a bonus!)

I’d prefer a furnished sublet as I have NO furniture at this point; I have only lived in NYC since May.

Any information or leads on a room would be MUCH appreciated.
