The best piece of advice I can give you is to call the magazines you want and ask for the name of the HR officer at reception.
Don’t take my firmness for sounding unfair but no one else on this board knows what kinds of magazines you like or a passionate about so it is up to you to find the contacts.
It would be different if you were asking for a specific company’s HR officer such as Conde Nast (the latter of which I can give the UK Personnel manager’s name).

This is something you really need to do for yourself. Nobody is going to be there to hold your hand through the arduous process of job hunting. As Aulelia said, often you just need to make a quick phone call.
