:( It's been a year... and nothing

I didn’t graduate with a degree in journalism (graduated in 08 with a History degree, but with experience putting together events and the like for a school org), but have been trying to get a job in the general area of fashion/entertainment and it does suck. Lucky for me, a local pr/marketing firm (not doing pr in the area I want, but still pr) is looking fill a few entry level positions (full-time AND paid) and I have a phone “interview” (dunno if it’s really a formal interview, but at least I passed their “describe why we’d want to hire you in 300 words or less” test) with one of the people on Friday. Needless to say, I’m nervous and keeping my fingers crossed.

I only found out about the job after emailing the firm and asking if they had any openings, so you might want to try that with PR firms where you live.
