Where is everyone interning this summer?

As more and more interviews are being conducted, and internship offers are slowly rolling in, I would love for everyone to post (if you already know, or when you know) where they’ll be working this summer. Since it’s summer, most of us won’t be NY-natives and probably traveling across the nation so I think it would be a great opportunity to meet fellow interns working in your respective publication!

I’ll start this off. I’ll be at Teen Vogue working in the Web Department! I’m excited but it’s also chaotic since I have so much stuff to figure out, i.e. accommodation and my visa since I’m from Canada.

I will intern this summer at a Los Angeles real estate company. The good part is that they offer me accommodation as well. I always wanted to see Los Angeles and now I am actually going to leave and work there for 3 months. I bet it will look more like a holiday than an internship.

I’ve only applied for NYU summer housing now—late, I know! So I’m waiting to be placed now. Ugh, should have applied earlier despite not knowing if I got an internship secured. Gramercy Green looks amazing.

I applied three weeks before i got the internship. My first choice was Gramercy green but its all filled up by now. I got my 3rd option. My reservation starts june 28 but my internship starts the 8th of june i think i am getting my finalized schedule this week. So i am going to extend it 3 more weeks. My internship is 7 weeks long.

I inquired about a beauty internship but Laurel said they had hired their interns already so I contacted the web dept instead! It worked out nonetheless!

Where are you going to be living during the summer? I just applied for NYU summer housing (a tad late I might say) but might take a look at other options! We should get in contact! It’d be great to have at least one person to lunch with on our first day, right?
