Hi edsters,
I am currently editing my resume and was wondering… is it appropriate to add future education to my resume? As in, this summer I will be studying and interning in London… is it o.k. to add that under my Education section before I have completed it? This resume is going to be shown to editors before I leave for London and I think it’s an important experience that should be noted somehow. Or does it suffice to mention studying this summer in the interview? Thanks!!

I think in stead of mentioning it as done, you may include a word of continued with internship and you will get the benefit. Thanks

Indicate that it is planned
Indicate that it is planned in order to avoid any awkward moments where the interviewers ask you how London was and then feel as if you misled them when you say that you haven’t actually done it yet. So long as you do that, go ahead and put it on your resume.

Definitely include it under the Education section. I’ve graduated already and still keep a mention of my study abroad experience and I’ve found that it always looks good to potential employers…enough for them to genuinely ask about it.
