Hey Edsters,
I’m going to the Ed Conference in a couple of weeks and needed some advice…What do you think is appropriate to wear to my mock-interview and resume critique with an editor? I want to stand out, look professional but am afraid that somehow, i will come off too casual.
In general, I’m nervous about to wear the whole weekend because I want to make a good impression but I also don’t want to be in heels the whole time either!

it specifically says on the website to bring comfortable shoes/sneakers for walking around the city. So I would assume that they do not expect us to dress up for the tours and stuff. at least they dont expect heels for an entire day of walking. I am attending the conference as well but live in nyc so i dont have to worry about packing for it. As for the interview you should pack something professional and something a little more casual then ask once here what they expect. Or if you cant wait email them and see.I just received an email with the time of my interview if you did too, I would just reply to that with any questions you have. I’m sure they will have no problem with that.
