I had a good experience with nyc intern as well. Their location is hard to beat, especially for the price.

Lived with NYC Intern last summer and had a great experience. Decently sized apartment 4 blocks from Bryant Park…it’s a dream place to live. The only downside was sharing a bedroom/bathroom with 3 other girls.

Roommate issues?

For those who have stayed at NYC Intern - or anywhere for that matter - if you had “random” roommates, did you have any issues with them?

I’ve had random roommates

I’ve had random roommates in college twice. Both times we all got along well. I’ve had friends who have had awful experiences with random roommates, but it all comes from lack of communication or miscommunication. As long as you set a framework of understanding, there shouldn’t be much trouble.

NYU housing

Last summer I interned at a magazine in NYC and lived in the New Yorker Hotel, as part of NYU summer student housing. The rooms were decent, but the location was great, very close to Penn Station and Madison Sq. Garden. NYU has many other locations in the city and Brooklyn. They also set up a bunch of student programs, such as a cruise and broadway shows.
