There are also a few websites that take on writers where you can do the assignment from your own computer, but those are also rare.
So the best thing for you to do, I think, is stay in school and transfer to a four-year university. Meanwhile, contact local publications for internships, and start your own fashion blog. Take writing, journalism, or fashion classes. There are a lot of things that you can do to gain valuable experience and not have to be in New York.
*And just as a side note, I used to do some local modeling as well. But of course I am too short for the NY runways and I figured out that journalism’s always had my heart from the beginning.

And you don’t need to come to New York yet if that’s not possible. Those are hard to get anyway, so start small and work for local magazines or newspapers in your town. There are also a few websites that take on writers where you can do the assignment from your own computer, but those are also rare.
So the best thing for you to do, I think, is stay in school and transfer to a four-year university. Meanwhile, contact local publications for internships, and start your own fashion blog. Take writing, journalism, or fashion classes. There are a lot of things that you can do to gain valuable experience and not have to be in New York.

Having a passion isn’t enough—you need writing and editing skills, and this post evinces none of those. You may think this is just the internet and it doesn’t matter, but the fact is that we’re all more likely to help you if you show us you’re literate and therefore it’s not a waste of time to help you out. Even if you’re applying for a fashion position, your cover letter needs to be coherent. Sorry if it’s brutal but I gave up on your post after three sentences.
