If I get work published on the internet, I always save a copy on my flashdrive just to be safe b/c as you said sometimes the link can change or not work. Even when I am completing my resume for the writng experience part: I will list the title, publication date, & website, but I will always submit an extra copy on MS Word to the employer through email. If I have to mail out writng samples, then I will also print out a copy. I always want to have a backup copy, just in case the interviewer can’t access the website & if the site does not work. When submitting impt. papers, you want things to go right. This way, they have a copy right in front of them. Making life easier for both parties.
Sometimes, employers don’t have the time to look up your work on the internet b/c there are many other people who are applying for the same job. You can always mention your websites in your cover letter. Go with what works for you. Take care.
You can “print” a web
You can “print” a web page so it becomes a PDF file. I’m a Mac user, and it automatically comes up as an option for me. In my experience, you select File > Print and can select “Adobe Acrobat” as your printer. Hope that helps!
