Resume Issue

My resume is one page, however I have a second page that just list references. Do you think I should get rid of the second reference page or keep it when submitting it for internships?

Having your references on a

Having your references on a second page is totally fine, and in fact they SHOULD be on a separate page, not on the same page as your resume. And the other poster is correct in that your name/contact info should be on the reference page as well.

But unless the job/intern listing requests it or unless you have AMAZING impressive references, you generally don’t supply references until they are requested.

Having 1-2 pgs for a resume

Having 1-2 pgs for a resume is good. I would leave what you have, especially with the references. Employers want to be able to zip through resumes b/c they have other people applying for the position & they also have other businesses to take care of. Not all the time, but employers usually review your listed references as to see what experiences you have had & what kind of person/worker you are. You are in great shape, just keep your resume simple.

Another thing is I don’t know how you submit your resume whether through e-mail or mail. But if you have more than 1 pg., it is wise to put your last name, either in the upper left or lower left corner as pages that you submit can get lost. Good luck!
